It was yet again for Bayern Munich as they successfully defend their title again for their fifth consecutive time. However, their closest rivalry was relatively shocking was RB Leipzig as it was relatively a new club that was establish couple of years ago and currently shocking the football world by challenging the Bundesliga on their first season. Even as Leipzig shocked the whole world but I would like to make an official review on Bundeliga’s 2016/17 season.

Speaking about Bundesliga, I would have nothing much to say honestly because this league is relatively predictable as Bayern Munich have been dominating the German league for most of the league history in general and they only could had a couple of bad seasons only like happen in 2010/11 & 2011/12 season as Borussia Dortmund had won the league title. Furthemore, as the top scorer I wasn’t surprised to see Pierre Emerick Aubameyang becoming the league top scorer with 31 goals in 32 league matches and Robert Lewandowski becoming the runner up with 30 goals in 33 matches.

The shocking moment that I personally feel was the RB Leipzig overall performence as they finish as the runner up in their first season and managed to qualified to next season Champions League automatically. Other than that, there are nothing much I would talk about as there are nothing special about this league.

Lastly I would like to list out Bundesliga Team of the Year:

GK: Manuel Neuer, Bayern Munich (Germany)

RB: Lukasz Piszczek, Borussia Dortmund (Poland)

CB: Mats Hummels, Bayern Munich (Germany)

CB: Niklas Süle, 1899 Hoffenheim (Germany)

RB: Sead Kolasinac, Schalke 04 (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

RW: Ousmane Dembele, Borussia Dortmund (France)

CM: Naby Keita, RB Leipzeig (Guinea)

CM: Thiago Alcantara, Bayern Munich (Spain)

LW: Emil Forsberg, RB Leipzig (Sweden)

FW: Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich (Poland)

FW: Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Borussia Dortmund (Gabon)

That is all on reviewing Bundesliga for this season. Hopefully that next season would be better and more challenging than this season so that the league would be more interesting to watch and because of that many fans could be attract to watch the league
